The Age of "Because"

I've read a blog that writes about a talk by de Bono. He states that there are 3 ages of human being: Age 0-5=the age of WHY, Age 6-11=the age of WHY NOT, Age 12-80=the age of BECAUSE. It comes into my mind, is living a life towards growth about questioning any statement or theories?? Will it lead to a positive outcome when u find a reasoning behind every theory u make? For me,is maybe...

"Argument is poor thinking because it's largely negative, anti-explorative, inefficient and the two parties tend to focus on the "worst 5%" of their opponent's point of view"
""value-sensitivity" - we may reject an idea but the more creative among us would still hold on to and explore the helpful concepts inherent in an impractical suggestion"
"Every creative idea is logical in hindsight, but invisible in foresight"(!!), thus the need for lateral thinking (e.g. challenge, provocation, concept-exploration, etc.)" (alwynlau.blogspot.com)

Is argument really a poor thinking? In mathematical equation, premise/argument 1&2 is used to get a conclusion. So, does this means conclusions made with arguments are usually the negative conclusion?? Well, to me, it depends. To me, it goes back to the very early stage which is asking WHY when an argument is made.

In life, we are faced with challenges. We have the need to overcome our hatred for something or for someone. It may be wise to find the root of reasonings but it is also unwise at certain points. What is it is a feeling of hatred or dislike towards a person?? Izzit important to torture ourselves and find out the reasons why we dislike the person??

Perception, emotion and behavior.... Will a change in perception leads to a change in emotion and a person's behavior?? Well, it comes to this question.. Which of human perception is the best to be applied in life?? To me, the answer lies in ur mind, ur faith/trust and ur experiences.. =)
